Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not create or upload on Photo ID Lab, how to report it, and what we do next

Who this covers

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to Photo ID Lab (photoidlab.com), including the AI headshot generator and the ID photo tools. It is part of the Terms of Service.

Prohibited content

You must not upload, describe, or ask the service to create any of the following:

  1. Sexual or NSFW content. Pornography, nudity meant to be sexual, or other sexually explicit material.
  2. Violence or gore. Graphic injury, torture, or content whose main purpose is to show extreme violence.
  3. Hate speech. Content that attacks or dehumanizes a person or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar grounds.
  4. Child safety. Any sexual or exploitative content involving a minor, or any attempt to sexualize a child. This includes drawn, generated, or edited images.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. A fabricated or edited image that presents someone else as the person in the photo, or that is meant to deceive others about who that person is.
  6. Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII). A real person’s nude, sexual, or private image made or shared without that person’s consent, including a real image that was edited.
  7. Copyright or trademark infringement. Content you do not have the right to use, including another person’s photo, a logo, or a trademark, when you lack permission from the rights holder.

A photo of a real person is allowed only when you are that person, or you have their explicit permission. See the Terms of Service.

How we review content

Photo ID Lab does not publish a public gallery of uploads. An AI headshot is sent to our image generation provider, which applies its own safety filters and may refuse a prompt or an image.

We do not have a person inspect every upload before generation. We do review reports, abuse of accounts, and cases our provider flags. If we find a violation, we may block the generation, remove the related account data we still hold, suspend the account, or close it.

How to report

Email support@photoidlab.com. Include the page address, the date and time, and a description of what happened. Put one of these words in the subject so we can sort it:

  • Report for a general violation
  • NCII for non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Child safety for content involving a minor

Do not attach illegal images of a minor. Describe the report, and we will tell you if a specific authority needs the material instead.

If you are the person in a photo and you did not agree to it, say so in the first line.

What happens after a report

  • We aim to review an ordinary report within 2 business days.
  • Reports of child sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate imagery are handled first. We aim to act within 24 hours. That can include disabling the account. When the law requires it, we report child sexual exploitation to the appropriate authority.
  • Severe or repeated violations can be suspended immediately, without waiting for the ordinary review window.
  • If we suspend or close an account, we email the address on the account when we have one, unless doing so would harm an investigation or a person’s safety.

Appeals

If your account was suspended and you think that was a mistake, email support@photoidlab.com within 14 days. Put Appeal in the subject. We aim to answer within 7 business days.
